Parliament To Discuss Haze Problem

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21 (Bernama) -- The Dewan Rakyat (Malaysia's House of Representatives) Wednesday approved a motion to discuss the haze in the country. The motion was tabled by Hee Loy Sian (PKR-Petaling Jaya Selatan) and approved by deputy speaker Dr Ronald Kiandee. "I allow this motion in accordance with Standing Order 18 3(b), where the debate will begin at 4.30 pm (Wednesday) and will be adjourned at 5.30 pm. "The debate will be for 30 minutes and the government will be given 30 minutes to reply to points raised," Kiandee said. -- BERNAMA
