Europe to get to know Turkish cracked wheat through cook books
KARAMAN (A.A) - 30.03.2011 - President of the Executive Board of Duru Cracked Wheat company operating in southern province of Karaman, Ihsan Duru, said Wednesday that they published 150,000 cook books in which 110 types of meals with cracked wheat are taught in the English language.
Speaking to the AA, Duru said that cracked wheat was a food item belonging to the Turkish culture.
With this reality, we try to promote cracked wheat in Europe. The cook books printed have been distributed in EU countries, Duru said.
We are conducting works so that EU citizens utilize cracked wheat in fast food items, Duru said.
In 2010, we earned 12 million USD from the exports of cracked wheat, Duru also said.
