Finance Minister receives ADFD director-general, praises solid Bahrain-UAE relations

Manama, May 3 (BNA): Finance and National Economy Minister, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has affirmed that the long-standing robust Bahraini-Emirati relations are based on solid foundations of joint cooperation and coordination across various fields.

The minister praised the steady growth of the Bahrain-UAE relations at all levels, thanks to the unwavering interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Highness President Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan of the UAE.

Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa made the statements while meeting here today the Director-General of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, who is on a visit to the kingdom.

The minister reviewed with ADFD Director-General the progress of the Bahraini-Emirati cooperation and joint action in the financial and economic fields.

He highlighted the UAE's role and constant support for many development programmes and projects in the kingdom, contributing to pushing Bahrain's economic development process forward.

He asserted that the distinguished long-standing fraternal relations between the two countries are a role model.

The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the kingdom Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, in addition to topics of mutual interest.
