Finance Minister receives Standard Chartered Bank officials

Manama, Mar.14 (BNA): Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa noted the pivotal role played by the financial and banking sector in support development,

 

He stressed the importance accorded by the Kingdom to further developing the financial and banking sector to reinforce Bahrain’s standing as financial hub in the region and the world.

 

The minister made the remarks as he received Standard Chartered Bank Group Bill Winters, Chief Executive Officer, Regional Chief Executive Officer for Africa and the Middle East Sunil Kaushal, and Dr. Boutros Klink, Chief Executive Officer, Standard Chartered Bank of Bahrain,

 

The meeting was also attended by Bahrain Central Bank (CBB) Governor Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj and Economic Development Board (EDB) Chief Executive Officer Khalid Humaidan.
