First Deputy Speaker, Czech Ambassador Agree To Activate The Joint Friendship Committee To Encourage Trade Exchange And The Entry Of Investors
Baghdad / NINA / -The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, and the Czech Ambassador, Peter Stepank, agreed to activate the work of the Joint Friendship Committee to encourage trade exchange and the entry of investors and businessmen.
A statement by his media office stated that Al-Mandalawi expressed his readiness to provide sufficient support to the Czech Republic's diplomatic mission in Iraq, with the aim of advancing the development of relations between the two countries forward and in the interest of the two friendly peoples.
Al-Mandalawi affirmed, during his meeting in his office today, Wednesday, the Czech Ambassador Peter Stepank, and his accompanying delegation, the keenness of the House of Representatives and the government to build good relations with all countries of the world, especially countries that have solid expertise in the fields of energy, industrial and agricultural investment, and sectors that achieve economic growth.
The two sides agreed, according to the statement, to strengthen relations between the two countries, open prospects for cooperation in the political, economic and cultural fields, exchange visits at the legislative and executive levels, and activate the work of the Joint Friendship Committee with the aim of accelerating the steps of signing agreed bilateral agreements to encourage trade exchange and facilitate the entry of investors and businessmen./ End
