Five Turks evacuated from Libya, brought to Turkey
CESME (A.A) - 26.03.2011 - Five Turkish workers, who preferred to stay in Libya despite ongoing turmoil, were evacuated from this country and brought to Turkey on Saturday.
The Turks came to the Aegean port of Cesme by a Turkish ferryboat due to ongoing turmoil and military operation on Libya.
"We did not face a serious threat in the region we were working, however, we were uneasy when we heard the Sirte airport was bombed," one of Turks, Aydin Dogan, said.
The ferryboat will set sail for Libya again on Sunday. It will take two ambulances and a lorry loaded with equipment and materials to this country.
