The FM And His Saudi Counterpart Discuss Regional And Int'l Issues Of Common Interest

Baghdad / NINA / -The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, discussed with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, regional and international issues of common interest.

The Foreign Ministry stated in a statement: "The minister met his Saudi counterpart on the sidelines of the consultative ministerial meeting hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah, and during the meeting they discussed bilateral relations between Baghdad and Riyadh, and ways to enhance them to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples."

 The two sides discussed regional and international issues of common concern, and the importance of achieving bilateral cooperation between the two countries, which reflects the convergence of visions between the governments of the two countries.

 The two ministers also discussed the efforts of the two brotherly countries in support of the joint Arab action in order to achieve more stability and prosperity for the countries and peoples of the region./ End
