FM: Our Policy Is Based On Strengthening And Developing Relations With Neighboring Countries

Baghdad / NINA / - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein affirmed that Iraq's foreign policy is based on strengthening and developing relations with neighboring countries.

 

Hussein affirmed: "The current government is working to diversify the economy and provide services and has a clear plan in investing in gas."

 

Hussein announced that he had discussed the electrical connection with the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Muhammad Al-Budaiwi.

 

Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein in a joint press conference with the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council: The Iraqi foreign policy is based on strengthening and developing relations, and we touched on the axes of how to develop economic relations, referring to the electrical connection with the Gulf and Saudi Arabia, which was a main focus of the discussion, and we also encourage the entry of Gulf companies to Iraq.”

 

 For his part, the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Jassim Muhammad Al-Budaiwi, stressed that "we need to move forward to consolidate the relationship between Iraq and the Gulf states, and we are working to ensure the security and prosperity of Iraq and strengthen relations.
