Foreign Affairs Minister receives First Deputy Speaker of Ukrainian Parliament

Manama, Mar. 14 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received at the Ministry today a Ukrainian parliamentary delegation headed by the First Deputy Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, Oleksandr Korniyenko, on the occasion of their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the 146th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and its related meetings.

The meeting reviewed the bilateral cooperation relations between Bahrain and Ukraine in various fields, especially the parliamentary one.

The two sides emphasised the importance of continuing communication and consultation between the two countries on various issues of mutual concern, in a way that would serve common interests.
