“Golden pen” books presented in Almaty
Almaty, November 19, 2009 (Khabar) - The “Golden pen” books have been presented in Almaty. The release was supported by the Nur Otan Party and devoted to the 75th anniversary of the Kazakhstan Union of Writers. The new edition includes works by Ilyas Zhansugurov, Mukhtar Auyezov, Saken Seifullin, Beimbet Mailin, Sabit Mukanov, Gabit Musrepov and others. Each volume will have a circulation of 3 thousand copies. Thanks to Nur Otan, some books will be sent to libraries while the rest of the books will be available in shops.
Darkhan Kaletayev, first deputy chairman, Nur Otan People’s Democratic Party:
- It is important that we’ve fortified our cooperation with the Union of Writers. We need to carry on working on this alongside young writers and intellectuals. Today, we have heard a lot of kind words but the most important thing is that such a project has begun. We also need to deliver the main idea to readers so they become interested in it. This is our main task.
