“Joy of creation”
Almaty, October 17, 2009 (Khabar) - This is the name of personal exhibition of Abdukarim Isa that was opened in Kasteev’s museum in Almaty.
Abdukarim Isa is the only painter in the world who draws tigers during 15 years. Dangerous striped animal has become his brand. There are about 500 works in his collection now. Painter says that image of holy tiger helps him to express his soul, his thoughts and his philosophy. Such plenty of depicted tigers can be met only in his work. He has an education of theatre painter. Isa has been working on television for a long time, but then everything has changed. A tiger has appeared on his way and he has dedicated 15 years to this theme. Master says that nothing happens occasionally. In his childhood a carpet with tiger image was hanged near his bed and maybe it has remained in child’s memory and later was realized on canvas. His art has brought him world acknowledgement, he was awarded by a golden medal at international exhibition in Cannes at “Painting” nomination.

- His powerful magnificent tiger sometimes is coquettish like Madonna; sometimes it is elegantly handsome, cosmically inconceivable. His tiger is complicated, beautiful, and mysterious as life itself. His pictures are different and unique.
Tigers of Abdukarims are different: from recognized to abstract images. In the creativity he addresses to east philosophy. Besidesa tiger is a symbol of the Uigur people. The biggest seven-meter cloth «Vanity of vanities» was written recently, to the 60th anniversary. And the work «Trilogy of Dervish» that causes a particular interest, the master has devoted to Sergey Kalmykov's memory.

- Thus, together with this tiger we go very difficult thorny road. I do not throw it, and it does not throw me. As many friends joke: if tiger meets you - will not eat. I think, God grants that will not eat, because I have made so much for it, and it has made so much for me.
His technique is oil, acryl, ink, a canvas, silk. He works with color originally: open, pure paints, without semitones. But experts mark that in this combination of the light and dark you feel a ball of fire.

- I have taken the spirit of tiger, there is no zoological image. It is actually very angry, aggressive animal that should not be joked. That’s why my friendship with tiger is on emotional, philosophical level.
Friends of the painter have presented him his favorite tigers.
