“Kazakh Yeli”: a symbol of independence
Almaty, October 24, 2009 (Khabar) - The opening of new independence symbol “Kazakh Yeli” should closely unite Kazakhstani people. This is the opinion of Abdimalik Nisanbayev, academician of National Science Academy. Every nation has its significant monuments that awakens the patriotism feeling and shows the history of the state. The scientist thinks that “Kazakh Yeli” can be put in one row with such masterpieces as Triumphal Arch and Statue of Liberty.

- It has the great significance in consolidation, independence strengthening and sovereignty of our republic. The second is that “Kazakh Yeli” will stand forever and the people of Kazakhstan are eternal. I will visit the 16th session of Assembly as a delegate and I want to say that the main wealth of Kazakhstan is its political ethics and we should save it. It is impossible to function without it. “Kazakh Yeli” symbolizes that Kazakhstan has huge perspectives.
