“Mega – Aktobe” opening
Aktobe, October 16, 2009 (Khabar) - The largest in Western Kazakhstan trade and entertainment center was opened today.
The citizens of Aktobe have been waited for its opening for a long time. Thousands of people came here to be surprised. The size of center is 45 thousand square kilometers. There are 7-halls cinema, park for children, product hypermarket and 75 shops in Mega. Products and services will be available for people with different income and interests levels.
Nurlan Smagulov, president of Astana Group:
- We think that Mega Aktobe will open the new format of family free time spending. There are unique objects in here. Cinema of new 3D format, “Babylon” – it is our pride; it’s a children’s entertainment park that can place thousand children.
Building of «Mega Aktobe» has cost seventy millions dollars. Mayor of the Aktyubinsk region Eleusin Sagindikov has noted the important role of the centre for regional economy. Here one and a half thousand townspeople have got a job. Annual deductions to the local budget will make two hundred millions tenge. Communication with Aktobe’s commodity producers is established and the most part of a foodstuff in a hypermarket is local manufacture.

- The occurrence of such unique enterprise will cause increase of culture of service on other trade and entertainment centers. The level of service quality will increase. And it means the improvement of quality of living.
Pride of a management of «Mega Aktobe» is rock where not only beginners, but also professionals can train. The president of «Astana Group» Nurlan Smagulov has informed, that one of stages of the Cup of Asia on rock-climbing will pass here.
