“Nurly Soz” prefomance

Astana, October 14, 2009 (Khabar) - The new way of state language propaganda was presented by the culture and information Ministry. Today in Astana colourful and entertainment trans-linguistic show «Nurly Soz» has passed. Representation consisted of several stage settings in which young actors acted in roles of classics of the Kazakh culture – Abay, Shakarim, Hodzha Ahmet Yassaui, Mohammed Haidara Dulati, Kashgari and others, recited fragments from their products, and also competed in oratory. Show has passed in capital opera and ballet theatre after name of Kulyash Baiseitova and has collected set of spectators and participants: capital students, schoolboys and representatives of creative associations of youth. As the organizers hope, similar shows will help to expand sphere of application of the Kazakh language and will stimulate interest and desire of youth to its studying.

- Level of application of the Kazakh language grows in all spheres of a public life every day. And today's event in the big degree promotes that the state language status rose.


Yerbol Shaimerden, the chairman of Committee on languages:
- It is the interesting form, we consider, because till now we have got used to scientifically-practical conferences official, always we speak very seriously, but now that state language became closer to youth, it is necessary to speak in their language, in the form of show, in the form of trans-linguistic statement. Such form in new for us, we hope that it will justify itself.
