“Road map” program realization
Kyzylorda, October 31, 2009 (Khabar) - 228 investment projects of “Road map” program in Kyzylorda region have created more than 10 thousand working places. The unemployment level decreases, people learn new professions, schools, roads and hospitals are being repaired. And the local government summarizes the first results. The program "Road map" has helped youth to avoid unemployment. In area on the basis of contracts with almost 500 enterprises about 2 thousand young experts have passed training and have got a job. For example, young doctor Gulzat Seilova has recently received the diploma. Then she has passed 2-month courses of specialization in the Kazakh National medical university in Almaty. Now she works in structure «Health Caravan» which renders medical services to inhabitants of the remote villages.
In 3 settlements about 3 thousand people live. Most of them complain of health of the woman and children. Doctors notice that weak kids are often born because of an anemia and infringements of nervous system at pregnant women.
Gulzat Seilova, the doctor of the Kyzylorda regional medical centre:
- All these children have symptoms of pre-natal traumas. And we give consultations on these diseases.
Nurzhamal Tursynbaeva, the expert of Kyzylorda regional management of public health services:
- We go to the remote villages with highly specialized doctors. Those who require hospitalization are delivered in the regional medical centre. Some of them are directed to the regional consultant-diagnostic centre on inspection.
The hospital of Kozhabaki village has only 15 places. The building has finally been repaired this year according to “Road map”. It demanded 3 million tenge to satisfy all the modern requirements.
40 medical institutions are already repaired in the region. These are first-aid posts, polyclinics and the hospitals located in countryside. 52 regional schools have been completely put in order. The problem with potable water is dealt in 34 villages thanks to repair of system of water supply. The program will be continued next year. More than 5 billion tenge is allocated for its realization.
