“Road map” realization

Pavlodar, October 28, 2009 (Khabar) - Thorough repairs of main sluice and sewer system have been carried out in Ekibastuz. Because of the big deterioration these objects became the weakest link in city housing and communal services. On replacement of old communications under the program "Road map" the city has received almost one billion tenge. Inhabitants of Ekibastuz have already estimated quality of the spent works. Irina Leonidovna's apartment is located in 8th micro district. Failures on water supply systems were often phenomena here. This year communal workers have made everything to forget about emergency situations. 20 kilometres of pipes have been replaced over in a city according to "Road map". Valeriy Ishchenko, the head of a contract organization, tells that haven’t such amount of work for a long time. Therefore there were some complexities in the beginning. Today all difficulties remained behind.

Valeriy Ishchenko, the head of a contract organization:
- The most difficult part was 80 meters that go under railroad. But thanks to experience of engineers we have solved this problem.

The main sewer station was built in 1968. Since that time thorough repairs didn’t take place here. Considering the fact that the equipment works 24 hours a day many communications have wore out a lot. Emergency situations were able to be escaped only with help of professional staff. And now the last repairs are done. “Road map” program is fully realized in Ekibastuz.

- Ater doing this work we have provided reliability and created working conditions for people. That is why we can say we have done a great work for future.

City administration has highly estimated the work of 2500 people who participated in Road Map realization.

- This work should be continued. And now we work on planning of “Road Map”-2010
