15 Iran-backed vandals arrested for Ashoora violations Manama, Sept.25 (BNA): The Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science announced on Tuesday the arrest of 15 vandals for indulging in abusive activities to cause chaos in Malkiya during the Ashoora season. He said that an investigation had revealed the Iranian Revolutionary Guards had financed the operation through terrorists living as fugitives in Iran, mainly the members of the February 14 group. Those arrested are: 1. Ahmed Abdulrasool Khamis, security guard 2. Adel Abdulwahid Darweesh, worker 3. Abdullah Isa Darweesh, worker 4. Ali Nabeel Mahdi, worker 5. Mahdi Ali Jaffar, worker 6. Mohammed Yousif Noah, unemployed 7. Hussain Isa Ali, worker 8. Sadiq Jaffar Abduljabar, worker 9. Ali Hassanain Hamza, student 10. Hameed Ahmed Abdulwahab, unemployed 11. Ahmed Mohammed Ali, unemployed 12. Habib Maki Ali, unemployed 13. Qassim Abdulrasool Kadhim, security guard 14. Sayed Hassan Saeed, student 15. Abdullah Juma Habib, unemployed He said the investigation had also shown the gang of vandals was being directed by a person who had been arrested in a terrorism case in February 2018. Legal action has been taken in the case and those arrested have been referred to the Public Prosecutor. The Director-General said that any activities that disturbed civil peace and harmed the social harmony would be tackled in accordance with the law.
