20 Passenger Ships To Join Maritime Transport Fleet

Bandar Abbas, Hormuzgan Prov., June 10, IRNA – Attaollah Sadr, Managing Director of the Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO), says 20 passenger vessels will join the country's maritime transportation fleet this year, adding that 98 percent of sea trips are made through Hormuzgan ports. Sadr told reporters in Bandar Abbas on Saturday that the vessels have the capacity to transfer 65 to 150 passengers among Hormuzgan islands. He said more than 30 billion rials will be spent to renovate passenger fleet./end
