26th Kui Buri Wild Bison found dead with no known cause
PRACHUB KHIRI KHAN, May 3 (TNA) - Wildlife authorities came across another carcass of wild bison in Kui Buri of Thailand's upper southern Prachuap Khiri Khan Province on Saturday (May 3), bringing the total number of dead wild bison in the area to 26 so far.
The authorities said they suspected that the animal had a sudden death, as they did not find any wound or sign of poaching or attack, noting that a thorough autopsy is to be carried out.
The latest incident prompted the head of the Kui Buri National Park, Prawatisat Chanthep, to order officials concerned to thoroughly survey the area for, probably, any more dead wild bison, as he feared that the bison could be dying in mass numbers, similar to those happened a few months ago.
As for 25 dead wild bison found in recent months, authorities have not yet discovered the cause of their deaths. (TNA)
