37th GCC Summit will boost people's welfare

Manama, Dec. 5 (BNA): Dr. Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Al-Shaikh, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, has asserted the importance of the 37th GCC Summit which will be hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain to boost the blessed GCC march. The ambassador praised the Kingdom of Bahrain's huge preparations ahead of the summit and paving all atmospheres for its success. He also expressed his confidence that the Summit will reach more results that will boost the joint Arabian Gulf work in all the political, defence, security, economic, and social aspects to satisfy the aspirations and ambitions of the GCC peoples. The previous Gulf summits thanks to the wisdom of the leaders and rulers began to yield their fruits in view of the dear and precious efforts exerted in preserving the Gulf security and stability and removal of any obstacles until we have joined the ranks of advanced nations, he told Bahrain News Agency (BNA). The vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his brothers the GCC leaders and rulers will boost the joint Arabian Gulf work and the series of resolutions passed by the GCC countries will continue throughout history in golden letters to become a constitution that will serve the welfare, growth, advancement and prosperity of the GCC, Arab and Islamic peoples, said the ambassador. The various current challenges surrounding the GCC countries and successive developments require constant consultation, exchange of visions and ideas regarding how to tackle all the challenges in the political, security and economic fields. He pointed out the security aspect will be at the top of priorities of this summit to boost the joint efforts to combat terrorism, extremism and external greed. In this respect the Gulf countries have signed security agreements with many superpowers, he added. The leaders of the GCC countries in their 37th summit in Bahrain will take resolutions that support previous resolutions to tackle the core challenges and risks surrounding them from every side, said the ambassador.
