6th Arabian MEP opened

Manama, Apr. 11 (BNA): The 6th edition of the Arabian MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) Exhibition opened today in Bahrain. Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf inaugurated the 2017 edition at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Conference Centre (BIECC). The minister toured the expo which attracted more than 100 exhibitors from Bahrain, the region and the world, showcasing the next generation technologies in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, insulation, refrigeration, automation, water and energy. The minister stressed the importance of the exhibition which displays renewable energy products that reduce consumption and environmental pollution, particularly solar panels which are used to generate electricity. He underlined Bahrain’s strides in the sector of construction and urbanization and infrastructure, which contributes to attracting investors in Bahrain owing to its strategic location, deregulated economy and streamlined measures. The ministry is showcasing the twelve services which are available on its website www.works.gov.bh or the e-Government portal bahrain.bh.
