70th anniversary exhibition

Astana, November 25, 2009 (Khabar) - Famous poetess Fariza Ungarsynova and writer Abish Kekilbayev celebrate their 70th birthdays this year. Special exhibition devoted to this event has taken place at the National Academic Library in Astana. Visitors at the exhibition became acquainted with some books written by the honoured literature figures of Kazakhstan, articles and photos from their personal archive as well as rare editions of their works. Library officials also made an alphabetic list of works by Abish Kekilbayev.

Askar Buribayev, deputy minister for culture and information of RK:
- Fariza Ungarsynova’s works are devoted to Kazakh women and her poetry is devoted to Mariam Khakimzhanova and Gaziza Zhubanova. All the prose written by Abish Kekilbayev describes the history of the Kazakh nation and the west of Kazakh. I love their works.

Fariza Ungarsynova, poetess, People’s writer of RK:
- I would like reading of books to be loved by the youth forever. I think my feelings and my warm attitude have all been converted into my works which can be read by readers.
