Advisor to HM King for Diplomatic Affairs receives UN Resident Coordinator

Manama, June 25 (BNA): Advisor to HM the King for Diplomatic Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received outgoing United Nations Resident Coordinator in Bahrain, Amin Al Sharqawi. Shaikh Khalid expressed his appreciation of Al Sharqawi's efforts and role during his tenure in the Kingdom to bolster Bahrain's partnership and cooperation with the United Nations and all its agencies. Al Sharqawi voiced his deep gratitude for the support he received throughout his stay in Bahrain and that contributed to setting an outstanding example of joint action between Bahrain and the UN. He wished the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
