Afghan publishers keen to collaborate with Iranian companies

TEHRAN,May 14(MNA) -- A number of Afghan publishers has said that they are keen to collaborate with Iranian publishing companies. Representatives of several Afghan publishing companies called on the Iranian international publisher Al-Hoda to establish a syndicate of Iranian and afghan publishers to accomplish the collaboration. The plea for collaboration was made during a meeting with Al-Hoda director Amir Motavallian on Saturday, Al-Hoda announced in a press release. Ten publishers from Kabul, Balkh, Heart, and several other Afghan cities discussed further cooperation between Iranian and Afghan publishers with Al-Hoda officials. They also asked the Islamic Republic of Iran to provide more facilities for import and export of the book between two countries and also to establish a system for electronic exchanges of books.
