AGU holds workshop on personal websites

Manama, (BNA): Prof. Dr. Rustum Mamlouk, Professor in the Innovation and Technology Department in the Graduate Studies College in the Arabian Gulf University (AGU), recently supervised a workshop on the techniques of designing a personal website. The workshop highlighted the methods of web design and steps to establish personal websites to ensure constant presence on the internet. Prof. Dr. Mamlouk also underlined the significance of using keywords in achieving wide reach on the web. He said: "Owning a personal websites is similar to owning a commercial shop that is located in an excellent location and operates all day. Through a website, you can efficiently and easily promote products and services." The workshop was attended by members of the teaching committee in the university, in addition to AGU students. Prof. Dr. Mamlouk added that it is important as it comes within the university’s strategy to achieve more digitalisation, to expand external affairs and shed light on AGU’s role in development, scientific research and community services.
