AGU participates in Berlin e-Learning Conference

Manama, Apr. 17 (BNA): Assistant Professor at the Department of Innovation and Technology Management at the College of Graduate Studies at Arabian Gulf University, Dr. Afaf Mubarak Buqawah, participated in the 24th International Conference on E-Education, E-Business, E-Management and E-Learning (IC4E), which was recently held in Berlin, in order to enhance research relations with international universities and to find global partners for future collaboration. Dr. Buqawah said that the conference, sponsored by the International Institute of Engineers and Researchers, aims to exchange experiences among scientists, engineers and students from universities across the world to present modern research. The conference provided researchers with opportunities to share new ideas and to present all that is new in the field of e-learning. Dr. Buqawah presented a research paper entitled, "The Effect of Web 2.0 Technologies on Student Learning Experiences: Interaction within Classrooms". This was among a number of workshops and papers which discussed the globalization of education. Researchers in different regions can now communicate with each other through a common platform, publish scientific papers and organize national and international conferences, to provide a common research ground through which they can gain knowledge in their fields of ??interest by interacting with experts in engineering, social sciences, management, pharmaceutical sciences and related medical science fields. The workshops discussed means of raising awareness among new researchers, acquiring skills to deal with new research technology, and collaborating with higher education institutions.
