Al- Azhar OCE Director praises King Hamad Global Award

Manama, Nov. 4 (BNA): Director of Al Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism Reham Salameh stressed the importance of the King Hamad Global Award for Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence. She said that the award opens wide doors for those who can be more tolerant and more accepting of differences, and can adopt the idea that difference does not lead to discord. She said that the Bahrain Dialogue Forum f"East and West for Human Coexistence", which was held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, is a distinguished event that witnessed a wide participation from representatives of different religions. She added that the visit is the best embodiment of the indication of communicating and spreading the message of peace, harmony and coexistence in the world and stressed that Bahrain hosted a distinguished dialogue that represents an extended bridge between East and West.
