Al Dhahrani congratulates Bahrain on agreement among production parties

Manama, Mar. 30. (BNA) – Speaker of the Representatives Council Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani has congratulated the kingdom on the International Labour Organisation's writing off a complaint against Bahrain in Geneva. He described the move as a landmark national achievement that proved the kingdom's transparency, commitment to its international obligations and adherence to reform, in line with the approach spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa since the launch of the Reform Project and the approval of the National Action Charter. Al Dhahrani commended the efforts of the Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Humaidan in reaching the agreement among the tree production parties, noting that such an achievement was attained thanks to the desire of all parties to ensure security, stability and prosperity in the kingdom and honour it at international gatherings. He stressed the Legislative Branch's support for consolidating the values of equality, tolerance, peaceful co-existence, development of the democratic experience in Bahrain, ensuring basic liberties and protecting labour rights. He added that such an agreement among the three production parties was a model that should be copied by all national groups to boost dialogue and consensus in addressing all key issues. He stressed that the agreement proved that consensus among the members of the one-family Bahraini society has never been impossible.
