Al Jazeera subversive agenda slammed

Manama, May 18 (BNA): Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) President Ahdeya Ahmed slammed the subversive role played by Al-Jazeera TV Channel. “Al Jazeera has harmed Bahrain and other GCC countries for long years”, she said, slamming the stance of channel in 2011 in distorting facts to achieve a subversive agenda. In a statement to Egyptian Youm7, she deplored the absence of any association, journalists trade union or civil society in Qatar. “The channel is playing a negative role its agenda has harmed neighbouring countries”, she said, adding most speakers appearing in Al Jazeera belong to the Muslim Brotherhood.
