In conclusion of its editorial, Al-Watan drew attention to HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani's assertion of the importance of accelerating the provision of humanitarian aid to avoid any humanitarian and economic crisis in Afghanistan, warning that such crisis would have serious repercussions on the stability of Afghanistan and the region. In turn, the Peninsula newspaper praised the efforts of the State of Qatar and its effective contributions in the operations of evacuating civilians from Afghanistan and ensuring their safe passage, in addition to its persistent and continuous efforts in the peace process in the region, highlighting the praise by the leaders of the world's countries for the constructive role of the State of Qatar in the evacuation of civilians under very difficult challenges and conditions. The newspaper noted the participation of HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, in the ministerial meeting of the Group of Seven (G7) on Afghanistan, where he stressed the importance of addressing the situation in Afghanistan in a realistic way and setting up incentives in order to ensure a peaceful transfer of power that preserves the basic rights of the Afghan people.
