Ambassador attends reception hosted by German chancellor

Berlin, July 10 (BNA): Ambassador of Bahrain to Germany, Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah, took part in the annual reception hosted by German Chancellor Angela Merkel on July 9, for ambassadors and heads of the diplomatic missions accredited to Germany. Chancellor Merkel gave remarks in which she reviewed challenges facing the world today, stressing the need for all countries to cooperate in order to overcome these challenges and achieve peace and prosperity in the world. She also highlighted the efforts exerted by Germany and the European Union to resolve disputes through diplomatic and peaceful means. Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Berlin and Ambassador of the Holy See delivered remarks in which he expressed his utmost thanks and appreciation for Chancellor Merkel and her unwavering support to the ambassadors accredited to Germany.
