Ambassador to Germany participates in Bahrain Economic Forum for Investment

Berlin, Aug. 28 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Federal Republic of Germany, Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah, participated in the Bahrain Economic Forum for Investment, organised remotely by the Kingdom's embassy in Berlin, the Economic Development Board, and the German Arab Chamber of Commerce. Ambassador Abdullah delivered a welcoming speech in which he praised the friendship relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federal Republic of Germany in various fields, valuing the development and growth of these relations in a way that achieves the common interests of both countries. Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kai ThamoBockmann, affirmed the depth of bilateral cooperation in light of the mutual keenness of the two countries to promote their ties at higher levels for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples. The Chairman of the Economic Development Board, Khalid Humaidan, gave a brief explanation in which he reviewed the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federal Republic of Germany, and ways to strengthen the mechanisms of cooperation between them in all fields. He noted the facilities provided by the Development Board for German investors wishing to invest in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Meanwhile, President of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Peter Ramazzauer, in his speech, highlighted the Chamber’s role in encouraging trade and economic relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of providing ways to enhance cooperation in the investment field. During the forum, bilateral trade between the two countries was discussed, as well as encouraging the tourism sector, banking, vocational education, and small and medium-sized companies to invest in the interest of the two countries.
