Ambassador to Italy meets Sapienza University’s Vice President

Rome, May 21 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Italian Republic, Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Balooshi, met the Vice President of the University of Sapienza in Rome and Professor of Economic Sciences at the same university, Professor Giuseppe Ciccarone. The meeting dealt with the good relations between both countries and ways to develop them. The Ambassador congratulated the Vice President of Sapienza University on the success of the King Hamad Chair for Interfaith Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence, which was officially inaugurated in November 2018, and it includes students from all over the world which indicates the distinguished management of this chair and its importance in contributing to the promotion of a culture of peace and peaceful coexistence in the world. The Ambassador also demonstrated the Kingdom's commitment to support this program, which is in line with the approach adopted by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Professor Giuseppe Ciccarone stated that the university is committed to preserving and developing the King Hamad Chair for Interfaith Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence, praising the good relations that bind it with the Kingdom, and wishing Bahrain further success in its continuous endeavours to spread peace.
