Ambassador visits Egyptian iconic place

Cairo, July 23 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador to Cairo and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Hisham bin Muhammad Al-Jowder, visited the Baron Palace, one of the most famous and oldest historical palaces in Cairo which was restored and reopened and placed on the Egyptian tourist map. The visit followed an invitation from the Egyptian Minister of Antiquities, Dr. Khaled El Anany. Other Arab and foreign ambassadors were also present. . Al-Jowder expressed delight at visiting the Baron Empain Palace and lauded the great efforts made by the Egyptian Government to complete the restoration of this unique archaeological monument. He commended the role played by the Egyptian government in implementing health safety requirements in the country. The Secretary General of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities, Dr. Mostafa Waziri, accompanied the ambassadors on the tour of the palace.
