Ambassador in Washington highlights Bahrain-US partnership, ties

Boston, Sept. 26 (BNA): Bahrain's Ambassador to the United States Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa participated in a conversation on "The Gulf and a World in Transition" at Harvard University during his visit to Boston. The ambassador highlighted the partnership and relations between the Kingdom and the United States in many fields and referred to the prominent role of the United States in promoting security, peace and stability in the region. Shaikh Abdullah presented to the students and specialists attending the conversation examples that demonstrate the Bahraini-US partnership in various areas. The most recent example is the role of the Kingdom in supporting international humanitarian efforts in relief efforts and evacuations from Afghanistan under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
