Animal Wealth Resources Undersecretary, Finnish Ambassador discuss cooperation

Manama, Nov. 2 (BNA): Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Undersecretary for Animal Wealth Resources Dr. Khalid Ahmed Hassan received Finnish Ambassador to Bahrain residing in Abu Dhabi Marianne Nissilä. The undersecretary reviewed Agricultural initiatives, marine resources, and livestock in Bahrain and the support of the officials in the Kingdom to boost food security. He stressed keenness to enhance Bahraini-Finnish cooperation in the agricultural fields, marine wealth, and fisheries, and to encourage private sectors to invest in them through modern technologies and bolster cooperation in the field of training and development. The ambassador affirmed her country's interest in cooperating in the food security sectors.
