AP Speaker meets Egyptian State Minister

Cairo, May 28(BNA): Arab Parliament (AP) Speaker Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Asoomi met Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Nabila Makram and discussed means of stepping up cooperation, focusing on the economic, security and humanitarian aspects of immigration. The minister extended deepest thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, hailing the royal keenness the Egyptian expatriate community and all residents living in the Kingdom of Bahrain and providing them healthcare against COVID-19 pandemic. She praised Bahrain’s pioneering humanitarian initiatives, led by HM the King, hailing the role of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President, in supporting and empowering Bahraini women.
