Arab League voices solidarity with Bahrain

Cairo, Mar. 27(BNA): The Arab League expressed full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain Government and people in confronting terrorist acts aimed at subverting national security and stability. Minister Delegate, Arab League Secretary-General's official spokesman Mahmoud Afif hailed Bahrain's success in busting a terrorist cell and arresting its members who perpetrated a spate of crimes, including the explosion which targeted a police patrol last February 26, leaving 5 policemen wounded. In a statement issued today, he said that the terrorists were plotting to perpetrate terrorist attacks targeting senior officials, policemen and vital facilities. The official spokesman reiterated solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain in confronting the terrorist activities aimed at subverting national security and stability. He voiced support to Bahrain's strong efforts to root out the scourge of terrorism.
