Arab Parliament highlights unifying Arab stances

Manama, Feb. 12 (BNA): Head of Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee of the Shura Council, Dalal Jassim Al Zayed, highlighted the need to promote joint Arab action to strengthen the role of legislative branch and activating parliamentary diplomacy in regional and international forums to take on challenges faced by Arab nation. Al Zayed said that as she today participated in the Arab Parliament’s third meeting of the third session of the second legislative term (2018-2019) chaired by President Dr. Mishaal Al Salam at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League. The meeting focused on the importance of unifying Arab stances to face the challenges by strengthening Arab national security to confront the attempts of hegemony, destabilization and interference in the internal affairs of countries.
