Arab Reading Challenge team returns to Bahrain

Manama, Oct.31 (BNA): Bahrain’s participants in the third Arab Reading Challenge have returned to a warm welcome. Education Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Education Services and Students’ Activities Dr. Shikha Al-Jeeb welcomed the delegation at the Bahrain International Airport. A number of officials representing the ministry, principals of participating schools and parents of students who competed in 2018 edition of the Arab Reading 2018. The team included the top ten students who won the Arab Reading Challenge – Bahrain Chapter, which attracted 50,000 public and private school students. Dr. Al-Jeeb hailed the dedicated efforts exerted by the Ministry of Education, public and private schools to ensure outstanding participations in the Arab Reading Challenge 2018, in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. The Bahraini team included Al-Eman School student Nooran Abdulraouf Al-Balooshi, who was honoured in the final ceremony for winning the Arab Reading Challenge in Bahrain.
