Arabian Gulf Children Spring Forum opens

Manama, Jan. 25 (BNA): The curtain rose this evening on the seventh edition of the Arabian Gulf Spring Forum for Children, being organised by the Good Word Society. Good Word Society Honorary President His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa patronised the opening ceremony at the Gulf Hotel, in the presence of officials, leading public figures, guests, parents, local and GCC media. Held under the theme "We Learn life while playing", the forum will run until Saturday, targeting children aged 10 to 12. HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa honoured ten winners of the second edition of the "Budding Star" Award 2017. The list of winners includes Daniel Abdulhamid Youssef Al-Ajami, Fatima Samir Al-Haiki, Mohammed Alaa Mohammed Isa, Mariam Mohammed Sharif, Noor Najm Youssef, Salman Ali Mohammed Al-Abbadi, Noor Abdulrahman Rashid, Fajr Ali Al-Bastaki, Mariam Ahmed Abu Fatih and Moa'men Mohammed Al-Hakim. HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa also honoured the sponsoring companies on the sidelines of the ceremony. Good Word Society Chairman presented HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa with a shield on this occasion.
