Army officers extend best wishes to Thai Crown Prince

BANGKOK, July 27 (TNA) - Army Commander-in-Chief General Prayuth Chan-ocha led officers at the Royal Thai Army headquarters in Bangkok Friday morning to extend their best wishes to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn on the occasion of the Crown Prince’s 60th birthday on July 28. The Thai army chief led his subordinates to express their best wishes to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and, on the same occasion, he saved five water buffaloes by buying them from a slaughterhouse in the central Ayutthaya Province. This year the Royal Thai Army has conducted several activities nationwide in honor of the royalty, including the purchase of 61 cows and water buffaloes from slaughterhouses and members of reservists’ clubs in provincial areas have received the cattle for their cultivation. The Royal Thai Army has also offered medical services; while its officers have donated their blood at hospitals. The Royal Thai Army has produced documentaries in honor of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince as well and has sponsored mobile medical units to treat monks, the elderly and general people. Besides, the Royal Thai Army has organized exhibitions to present the military contribution of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.(TNA)
