Aspire Academy Participates in Tarsheed Carnival Organized by Kahramaa

Doha, March 07 (QNA) - Thirty Student-athletes from Aspire Academy have participated in the Tarsheed Carnival activities organized by the Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) in four stations in different parts of the country. The student-athletes participated in the Wadi Al Dahul station near Al Khor. A Tarsheed team made many interactive activities and games for the students of the Academy to familiarize them with the rationalization campaign and its importance, as well as pushing always for sustainability and introducing them to the state's efforts for sustainability. Head of Awareness and Community Development at Kahramaa Fatima Al Misnad said the 5th Carnival was characterized this year by comprising four different stations from different parts of the country. She expressed pleasure with the participation of Aspire Academy students at the Wadi Al Dahool station near Al Khor, where many different interesting activities were held, including cleaning grasslands and planting seedlings. For his part, Head of Orientation Department at Aspire Academy Khaled Daifallah expressed his thanks to the rationalization department at Kahramaa for inviting Aspire Academy's student-athletes to participate in the 5th Carnival, explaining that it was an opportunity for students to get acquainted with Wadi Al Dahoul park, as well as encouraging the preservation of the Qatari environment and getting acquainted with the activities of the rationalization campaign. The Tarsheed team organized competitions containing questions about the Qatari environment to familiarize students with it and the most important achievements made by the country to preserve the environment and create sustainability. The participation of Aspire Academy student-athletes in the Tarsheed Carnival is part of the Academy's role and efforts in instilling the values of community service in the hearts of its student-athletes.
