Assistant Foreign Minister hails bilateral relations with EU

Manama, Dec. 8 (BNA): Assistant Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al-Doseri received European Union (EU) Ambassador to Bahrain, residing in Riyadh, Patrick Simonnet. Director of the European and EU Affairs at the Ministry, Ambassador Shaikha Aisha bint Ahmed bin Saqr Al Khalifa, was present. Al-Doseri congratulated Ambassador Simonnet on his appointment as EU ambassador, wishing him success. He expressed the Kingdom’s pride in the distinguished relations with the EU, stressing its keenness to strengthen these relations at all levels for the benefit of both sides. The ambassador stressed the EU’s keenness to develop joint work with Bahrain in various fields, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
