Assistant Foreign Minister receives Indian ambassador

Manama, Feb. 28 (BNA): Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabr Al-Doseri, received in his office at the ministry today, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Piyush Srivastava. The Assistant Foreign Minister praised strong bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation, stressing their development in various areas. For his part, the Indian ambassador praised the care given to the Indian community in the Kingdom of Bahrain, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also affirmed his country’s keenness to further develop relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain in the interest of both countries and people. The meeting also discussed a number of issues of mutual concern.
