Assistant Foreign Minister receives United Nations official

Manama, Apr. 16 (BNA): Assistant Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Doseri received the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme to Bahrain, Amin Al Sharqawi. Al Doseri praised the UN efforts in establishing a more peaceful and safer world and affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to enhance cooperation and coordination with the UN and its specialized agencies, namely the UNDP, at all levels, and including the King Hamad Award for Youth Empowerment to achieve the SDGs, Princess Sabeeka Global Award for Women's Empowerment. Other issues of common interest were also discussed. Al Doseri expressed appreciation of the UNDP’s role in helping the Kingdom achieve the SDG’s and Al Sharqawi wished the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
