Assistant Undersecretary participates in seminar on strategic GCC-Germany dialogue

Manama, Nov. 2 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs today participated in a webinar on strategic dialogue and cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Federal Republic of Germany. The delegation of the Ministry was headed by the Assistant Undersecretary for Cooperation Council and Arab Countries Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Mohammad Jameel. GCC Secretary General, Dr. Nayef bin Falah Al-Hajraf, delivered a speech in which he emphasised the importance of developing cooperation relations between the GCC countries and the Federal Republic of Germany. Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the Minister of State at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nils Anin, and the Chief of Kuwait's National Security Bureau, Shaikh Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, also participated in the webinar. The webinar discussed regional security, diplomacy, soft power and cooperation between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Federal Republic of Germany in the field of diplomacy and crisis management. It also reviewed means of cooperation in the economic field and the strengthening of economic relations following COVID-19.
