Attorney General attends conference on combating transnational crime

Cairo, Nov.7 (BNA): An international conference highlighting the role of public prosecutions in combating transnational crimes opened today in Cairo under the patronage of the Egyptian President. Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fadhl Al Bouainain is taking part in the key conference which is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday, November 9. The conference is organized by the Egyptian Public Prosecution, in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the Counter-Terrorism Project in the Middle East and North Africa (CT MENA), and the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS). Dr. Al Bouainain was re-elected for a second term as Secretary-General of the Arab Association of Public Prosecutions. A meeting of the contact points of the association's public prosecutions was held with the Counter-Terrorism Project in the Middle East and North Africa (CT MENA) and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS).
