Attorney General takes part in GCC meeting

Riyadh, Oct. 4 (BNA): Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fadhel Al Bauainin took part in the meeting of Public Prosecutors, Attorneys General and Heads of public investigation bodies in the GCC countries which convened in Riyadh today. He spotlighted in his speech implementation of the Attorneys General's decisions over the past years concerning judicial cooperation, pointing out the GCC efforts to foil criminal plots and organised crimes. Dr. Al Buainin called for holding specialised training sessions for members of the Public Prosecution, underlining the need to boost judicial cooperation. Bahraini Advocate General Ahmed Al-Hammadi was granted this year's Award of Distinction which is named after late former Kuwaiti Attorney General Hamid Al Othman.
