Availing of development programmes in parliamentary work stressed

Manama, June 23 (BNA): Representatives Council First Deputy Speaker Abdulnabi Salman Nasser received today the UK's Ambassador to Bahrain Simon Martin and a delegation from the Global Corporate Governance team. The meeting was attended by Representatives Council Second Deputy Speaker MP Ali Ahmed Zayed and Assistant Secretary General for Committee, Sessions and Parliamentary Support Affairs Dr. Yasser Saqr Al-Shirawi. Discussions focused on ways of boosting partnership between the Representatives Council and the Global Corporate Governance team concerning providing training programmes and programmes on community partnership for the MPs.
